Dance Theatre of Harlem

Internationally acclaimed Dance Theatre of Harlem returns to Colden Auditorium, bringing the best black artists in Queens. This performance, their final one before an extended European tour, performs South African Suite, Agon, and Return.

Dance Theatre of Harlem was founded in 1968 by Arthur Mitchell as his personal committment to the people of Harlem following the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King. From Petipa to Ballanchine, from pure dance to powerful dance dramas, from crystalline neoclassicism to vivid works inspired by the African Diaspora, DTH performances have thrilled audiences and set box office records the world over.
