About This Show

Dames Like Us is an ensemble monologue play that uses razor wit to trash taboos and smash stereotypes of women “of a certain age.”

The play is loosely set in Salon de Sofia, where Rizzo as Sofia, the salty Argentinian bikini-waxer and take-no-prisoners proprietress, shares the stage with a revolving troupe of NY actors as they move from wig to wig and persona to persona, transforming themselves into 15 unforgettable human beings.
