INTAR presents a workshop production of Customs, written and directed by Michael John Garces.
Michael John Garces grew up in Colombia and is currently the Producing Artistic Director of INTAR in association with Max Ferra. Recent directing credits include Young Valiant (INTAR), Havana is Waiting by Eduardo Machado (The Cherry Lane); Force Continuum by Kia Corthron (Atlantic Theatre Co.); Finer Noble Gases by Adam Rapp and When the Sea Drowns in Sand by Machado (Humana Festival); and extensively at INTAR, Directors Company, Repertorio Espanol, Coconut Grove, Teatro Lo’il Maxil/Mexico; Imua, Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre, La Mama, Todo con Nada, HERE and La Tea. He has also written many highly acclaimed plays produced in NYC and across the country.
