Confused Circuses

Confused Circuses, by David Tianga, is a story set in the circus-like atmosphere of NYC in the early 1990’s. The tale follows three boys, Steve, Brett and Jose, as they reunite three years after a highschool gang fight that leaves one of them blind. They had always been like a family, and now they struggle to pick up the pieces and reestablish their friendship. Through the boys’ harsh, slang filled dialogue and street mentality, we explore the psyche of these confused young men who search for the Answers to Life in the hip hop music they listen to, the blunts they smoke, and the television they watch. Co-Directed by Jenny Penny Curry & David Tianga.
