About This Show

Set in Harold Clurman’s apartment in New York City in June of 1980, Clurman immediately thursts us into the world of theatre, taking the audience on an inspiring journey of Clurman’s beginnings on the Lower East Side, his time spent at the Sorbonne in Paris with Aaron Copland (his roommate), his early theatre days with The Provincetown Players and The Theatre Guild, his friendship with Lee Strasberg, and with Cheryl Crawford, the founding of the famed Group Theatre, as well as his relationships with Stella Adler, Alfred Stieglitz, Marlon Brando and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, among others.

There is no performance on Thursday, November 27, but there is a makeup performance on Wednesday, November 26 at 8pm.
