Cinephilia

Set in a small apartment in Williamsburg, Cinephilia examines the world of two lost and lonely 20-something lovers, Johnny and Arden. In the midst of spending yet another night together–an on and off trend for 4 years–the two cinephiles cling to their obsessions with film and sex as a way to validate their relationship, even their existence. Movies are their drug, their escape, and their salvation, whether it’s Reds, Kill Bill, Breathless, or Rushmore. As we all know: Loving movies is easy…loving people is hard.
