Chicago City Limits will again ring in the New Year with their annual New Year’s Eve show: Chicago City Limits Presents 2003: The Year in Revue. Original cast members Linda Gelman and Paul Zuckerman will be joining the cast for this special occasion.
The show takes the New Year’s Eve audience through a quick tour down a not-so-distant memory lane, taking aim at the faces, places and events of 2003. This take-no-prisoners look at the year gone by features comedy sketches and songs about everything from Ashcroft to Zoo Closings. There’s the mini-musical, “Bushed”, Saddam, Uday and Qusay, White House leaks, judges who refuse to follow court orders, reporters who make up their own stories, mutual fund fraud, DNA mapping, alligators and lions in NYC apartments, low carbohydrate beer, the blackout, Arnold, Mel Gibson, Martha Stewart, Phil Spector, and Michael Jackson.
Champagne and noisemakers are included, and special guests will be dropping by.
