Production duo Wild Child & Peter Kay present two contemporary American one-acts in an evening entitled Carrots & Plums. Michael Weller’s At Home is a quirky and troubling view of the not-so-perfect newlyweds. Paul and Carol quarrel over how to prepare dinner and, ultimately, how to save their marriage. Israel Horovitz’s It’s Called the Sugar Plum is a hilarious view of love, lust and holding onto one’s fifteen minutes of fame. Joanna confronts Wallace for accidentally running over and killing her boyfriend with his car.
