Broadway/La Gran Via is an adaptation of two Zarzuela (Spanish operetta) jewels, La Gran Via (Broadway) and Agua, Azucarillos Y Aguardiente (Water, Candy & Brandy). It’s a clash of the old and the new, stories of people and streets in a big city, and skyscraping rents.
