Broadway Idol

After playing to standing room only crowds, Broadway Idol, NYMF’s scintillating showtune flavored answer to American Idol, returns this summer for round 2! Joins NYMF for three nail biting rounds as our dueling divas, sassy sopranos, and bragging baritones battle for your votes and the coveted crown.

Andrea McArdle hosts the event, with celebrity judges including Stephanie D’Abruzzo, Manoel Felciano, Denis O’Hare, Lonny Price, Anthony Rapp, and Marc Shaiman.

Round One: September 21
“My Favorite Things"–Contestants sing their favorite tunes from any Broadway show.

Round Two: September 28
“Broadway Rocks!"–Contestants sing a rock song from a Broadway show.

Final Round: October 5
“Star to Be"–Contestants sing one song from Broadway show pre-Oklahoma! and one song from a Broadway show post-Hair.

Admission includes a free drink. Who could ask for anything more?
