About This Show

Can’t Sleep Productions presents Big Girl, Little World, a new play by Jay Duffer. This is the story of a reclusive, overweight young woman who struggles with her sanity. As disturbing memories come to surface, Big Girl desperately attempts to regain control of her life by communicating with a small-time celebrity “Life Coach” through her television set. Big Girl’s fate, however, takes an unexpected twist. Crazy meets crazier as she opens the front door and accidentally lets in her worst nightmare. Both funny and tragic, Big Girl’s journey is engaging and unpredictable as she attempts to confront her past and control her future.

The show is written and directed by Jay Duffer. Co-direction/fight choreography is by Stacey Plaskett. Part of the 2003 New York International Fringe Festival.
