Fresh out of college, Peter Barton found himself the “it guy” of the NY Theatre scene as his play Prince Gregory opened to critical and audience acclaim. With his stardom came all the glories of the ’80’s Lower East Side club scene. Now, ten years later, Peter and his former- bar fly wife have moved to respectable suburban digs, where he sells insurance and she attends to their busy social calendar. During a surprise visit from their old city pals celebrating the 10th anniversary of Prince Gregory’s opening night, it becomes clear that absence does not always make the heart grow fonder. Barton’s Crossing is a new comic drama that explores the hilarity and heartache of long-term friendships.
