About the Show
Kevin Brofsky’s Awaken the Wolves tells the story of 17-year-old Herschel Grynszpan living in Paris in 1938. Outraged at the exile of his family and all non-native German Jews to a hell-hole existence on the German/Polish border, Grynszpan kills the German ambassador, which the play suggests lights the fuse that sparked the Holocaust.
