Regarded as one of George Bernard Shaw’s most entertaining works, Arms and the Man–written in 1894, takes us into Shaw’s version of Bulgaria, and the family known as the Petkoff’s. Through a delightful tale about the “chocolate cream soldier,”, the playwright manages to put forth his theory about the absurdity of class, war, and soldiering.
This is the final production in Pulse Ensemble’s home on 42nd Street. Performances take place outside in the Courtyard.
