An Outer Space Project’s performers create an irresistible fantasy of what outer space could be. Visions of floating in space without space suits collide with the risks posed by exiting the earth’s atmosphere. Indelible childhood images of outer space take life onstage as performers’ bodies recite memories and carry out impossible space shuttle missions. The pleasure of stargazing takes shape in a dance, theater and music performance that challenges audience members to both remember and forget what they know about outer space.
