A Show of Force

Created and performed by Donnie Mather, A Show of Force asks the questions: Is there such a thing as a “just” war? When should the few die for the greater good? Do we learn from the past?

A Show of Force is one young man’s crisis — an Everyman’s quest for uneasy answers. Having fallen into the rabbit hole beset with these enduring questions, he examines all he has learned trying various answers on for size. The character is a lot like America: young, passionate, divided, and full of contradictions.

Leon Ingulsrud directs A Show of Force, presented as part of the 10th annual New York International Fringe Festival.
