New York City
Considered by many to be one of the greatest musicals in Broadway history, the original production of A Chorus Line spanned over fifteen years and 6,000 performances. New York University brings the musical back to were it was first presented, in Greenwich Village, only blocks from its debut at The Public Theater, nearly thirty years ago. NYU’s production features the classic and original Michael Bennett staging and is directed and choreographed by Kari Nicolaisen, a Broadway A Chorus Line alumnus. Musical direction is by Michael Ricciardone. The production is presented by The Steinhardt School of Education’s Department of Music and Performing Arts Profession’s Program in Vocal Performance.
