The Flashing Stream

Animated Theaterworks and the Mirage Theatre Company present The Flashing Stream, by Charles Morgan. This British drama centers around an Admiralty program to develop an anti-aircraft weapon on the eve of World War II. Although written in 1938, the play, which pits politics and personal intrigues against scientific honesty and love, has resonance in today’s climate of possible war and the development of the Star Wars missile defense system.
