New York City
The Actors Company Theatre presents Tennessee Williams’ The Eccentricities of a Nightingale, directed by Jenn Thompson.
Written in 1951, but not seen in New York until it debuted on Broadway in 1976, the play is an early version of Williams’ 1947 play Summer and Smoke, about a Southern spinster who falls in love with her handsome neighbor.
