Reggie Watts: On Life and Quantum Entanglement

About the Show

The “deliciously strange” (LA Times) comedian, musician, improv expert and general entertainment maestro Reggie Watts returns to the Skirball Center. Watts is known to perform an entirely unique show each time he gets onstage with his looping machines and his talented voice. New sounds, multi-media maneuvers and other surprises are expected to take his routine to the next level in this full-length solo performance. As the opening act for Conan O’Brien’s 2010 tour, Watts beat boxed, joked and improvised his way to even more acclaim. There isn’t much he hasn’t done: he starred on PBS’s remake of the classic kids show Electric Company; he created a hilarious video short on CollegeHumor.com; and he released best-selling albums, both on his own and as the front man for Seattle-based Maktub. Rolling Stone, GQ, New York Magazine, Time Out New York and more have sung his praises as one of the country’s rising comedic stars.
