Preludes: New Musicals in Concert

Preludes: New Musicals in Concert is a unique series of public concerts of new musicals that reflects The Melting Pot Theatre Company’s ongoing mission to develop and produce new American work.

The first show is Vanishing Point, which tells the story of Amelia Earhart, Agatha Christie, and Aimee Semple McPherson, famous women of their day who each disappeared mysteriously for a time, who find themselves together on a desert island. The concert is Monday, April 26 at 8pm.

The second show is Heading East, where a Chinese immigrant and his family tumble through 150 years of history searching for their American Dream. The concert is Monday, May 17 at 8pm.
