In Theresa Rebeck and Alexandra Gersten-Vassilaros’ new comedy Omnium-Gatherum, an international mistress of style assembles a group of intellectual icons and average New Yorkers for a surreal gourmet dinner party. When an unlikely guest arrives midway through the meal threatening the evening’s lively shenanigans, the conversation becomes more heated–and all hell nearly breaks loose.
