James Sewell Ballet

Not your normal ballet company. This winning team of dancers, led by the acclaimed choreographer and former Feld Ballet star James Sewell, has become a Minnesota state treasure and a national favorite. Their Joyce debut includes Loves Remembered, danced to seven Lieder, and the abstract Moving Works, set to music of Bach, Monteverdi, Combustible Edison, and Baaba Maal. The improvised and choreographed movements of Barrage, a NY premiere, illustrate a human drama of strange beauty.
