Goodbye Buddy

Goodbye Buddy is a dark comedy about a woman sentenced to death and what happens when two guards discover they’re all out of ways to kill her. But when the execution goes awry, Buddy develops a relationship with one of the guards in an attempt to stay alive. Along the way, Buddy discovers the reason for her imprisonment, plays the free pass game, and even sings some Billy Joel. Beyond the debauchery, Goodbye Buddy is a play about the absurdity of government, finding friends in the most unlikely of places, and confronting death.
