Finesse Mitchell

Saturday Night Live alum Finesse Mitchell, returns to New York City and Comix for one night only. After Finesse’s stand-up performance, he will be signing copies of his popular book, Your Girlfriends Only Know So Much: A Brotha’s Take To Dating and Mating For Sistas (Simon Spotlight, 2007), a hilarious guide on dating advice geared towards African-American women which garnered him the 4th Annual African-American Literary Award for Best Comedy Book (2008).

Long before his days on SNL, Finesse made an impact in the world of stand up comedy. He entered his first comedy contest in 1995…and won first place. Since that day, he’s been making people laugh for a living. His witty sense of humor, smooth Southern charm, and showmanship are making him one of the brightest young stars on the comedy horizon.

Finesse has had featured roles in several movies including Who’s Your Caddy?, The Comebacks and Mad Money. Being tapped as the “go-to” guy on relationships has landed Finesse numerous roles as a subject matter expert on The Morning Show With Mike & Juliet, The TODAY Show, The Early Show and The Tyra Banks Show. In addition, he also pen’s the popular monthly “Oh Brother!” column in Essence Magazine.

Recently, Finesse was the host and headliner of the 2008 “Just For Laughs” Canadian Comedy Tour and made his debut appearance “The Hour With George Stroumboulopoulos”, Canada’s #1 late-night talk show.
