About the Show

In a time when art was used to promote the ?cause,? Dismiss All the Poets, is a fictional play based on the rise and fall of Cuban poet Heberto Padilla. Illustrating the dangers of producing art in a totalitarian society, it follows the literary existence of a poet while exploring his disenchantment with the Cuban Revolution.
