About This Show

It’s Greek tragedy by way of France in Racine’s Andromache. The ill-fated Orestes (the one who goes on to kill his mother) pursues his beloved Hermione, daughter to Helen and Menelaus. However, Hermione is in love with Pyrrhus, Achilles’ son who led the final victory–and slaughter–in Troy. Pyrrhus loves Andromache, the widow of Hector. This love triangle is only the tip of the iceberg in this passionate tale of four thoroughly human characters whose lives must follow their tragic course.

Senior and student rush tickets are available one hour before each performance.
