An Empty Plate in the Cafe du Grand Boeuf

Primary Stages presents their stylish new comedy AN EMPTY PLATE IN THE CAFE DU GRAND BOEUF written by Michael Hollinger and directed by John Rando. The story follows Victor, a noted gourmand and cafe owner, embarking on a suicidal hunger strike after a Hemingway-esque encounter in Spain. In an effort to thwart his attempt, his loyal staff prepares a sumptuious seven course meal served on empty plates. Will they succeed in ultimately feeding his soul?
