About This Show

After cruising the US for 5 years, Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad opened at The Zipper last December to rave reviews – and now they are back for more. This rendition of mishagas on wheels features new songs ("The Filthiest Song About Hamantaschen") and comics, as well as old favorites like the Hasidic Strip, "Bei Mir Bist Du Schoen Remixed" and the mystery of Judaism solved: "What’s in Gefilte Fish?" (it’s "Fear Factor" for Jews!). This time around East Coast meets West Coast as the LA and NYC Comics face off in the NJGGB version of "You Got Served."

A different show each night, this run of Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad features comedians Adira Amram (Heeb’s 100), Michelle Collins (VH-1), Dana Eagle (Comedy Central), Ophira Eisenberg (Comedy Central), Rachel Feinstein (Comedy Central), Jessica Golden (E!, HBO), Julie Goldman (HBO, LOGO), Jessica Kirson (Comedy Central, "Last Comic Standing"), Cynthia Levin (Comedy Central), Mindy Raf (VH-1), Hilary Schwartz, Jess Wood ("Def Comedy Jam") and Rena Zager (Comedy Central). Also featured will be spoken word artist Vanessa Hidary (HBO), cabaret darlings Mel & El and the Go-Go booty shakin’ Sister Schmaltz. Klezmer punk and funk will be provided by house band The Four Skins and, as always, the show is hosted by the queen of the quick change, The Goddess Perlman.
