New Sudden Fiction: Short-Short Stories

Actors James Naughton, B.D. Wong and Marian Seldes read ultra-short stories from New Sudden Fiction, a new anthology of eclectic stories, as part of the critically acclaimed Selected Shorts: A Celebration of the Short Story series. Artistic Director Isaiah Sheffer hosts the evening.

The anthology includes stories by Aimee Bender, Teolinda Gersão, Romulus Linney, Yann Martel, Sam Shepard and Tobias Wolff. Whether traditional, experimental, humorous, moving or magical, each of the stories is under 2,000 words and each has its own element of surprise.
