About the Show
After a decade, the Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) is officially making its historic return to the New York stage. From June 15 through July 26, 2026, the entire three-theatre complex of the American Theatre of Actors will be transformed into a vibrant hub of creative innovation. The American Theatre of Actors is located at 314 W 54th Street, NYC. Featured events include Beethoven’s Wrong Note By Jay Stephenson featuring James Harkness (Broadway: Ain’t Too Proud; Beautiful; The Color Purple, Chicago) as Ludwig van Beethoven; and Crabs in a Barrel By Reginald T. Jackson – being reviewed for a Pulitzer; and Monarch: The Mexican-American Musical By Alfonso Molina and Mayu Molina Lehmann featuring the original Los Angeles cast; One in a Million Musical – workshopped at Broadway producer Ken Davenport’s TheaterMakers Studio also comes to the MITF along with The Crossword Play By Donna Hoke coming from Anchorage.
