She is a seasoned Broadway diva, starring in Hair, Purlie, Les Miserables, and a hit making recording artist and Grammy nominee (“You Stepped Into My Life,” “Lean On Me”), as well as a television and film actress most recently seen in the hit movie The Fighting Temptations alongside Beyonce Knowles and Cuba Gooding Jr. She also has a devoted gospel following, being fueled at numerous Gospel Fest concerts and on records like her Shirley Caesar produced “I’m Still Here” and “Nobody But Jesus”. Her forthcoming Ron Carroll produced dance recording promises to prove once again that Melba Moore appeals to a broad and varied fan base.
