Marcus Simeone: Cat on a Leash

Marcus Simeone, 2002 and 2003 MAC Award Nominee, presents his cabaret, Cat on a Leash with Musical Director Tedd Firth and Bassist Marco Brehm. In this show, Marcus covers a wide range of material from composers as diverse as Billy Strayhorn and the Gershwins to contemporary writers such as Maria Gentile and Nicholas Levin, who wrote the title song for the show. With no specific theme, there is an underlying thread about prejudice, about identity, and about facing the past through metaphorical nuances.
