Lynn Loosier: Georgia on My Mind

Singer Lynn Loosier makes her New York City debut with her cabaret show, Georgia on My Mind. It is autobiographical in that it speaks of her home state of Georgia and through the music tells the tale of all the “homegrown” influences that have effected her life. From 110 years of musical styles and life styles, she draws on the music of Johnny Mercer, Tommy Dorsey, and Otis Redding, as well as singers as diverse as Lena Horne, Ma Rainey, Trish Yearwood, Gladys Knight, and Brenda Lee.

The Wednesday, July 26 show is at 9pm. There is a $15.00 minimum for each performance.
