Juneteenth Legacy Theatre Blues Cabaret

Juneteenth Legacy Theatre presents an original blues cabaret featuring Ivan Thomas and Angela S. Arnold singing and dancing 24 songs immortalized by Bessie Smith, Ethel Waters, Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, and Lena Horne including such favorites as “Baby Won’t You Please Come Home,” “St. Louis Blues,” “I Love My Man,” “Summertime,” “God Bless the Child” as well as lesser known songs “Cabin in the Sky,” “Aggravatin’ Papa,” and “Mean Ole Man’s World” at the Richard Allen Center for Culture and Art’s Shooting Star Theater, 40 Peck Slip, in the South Street Seaport.
