johnpaulgeorgeringo is a new, original one man show featuring the multi-talents of Dave Jay Gerstein, in which he morphs between four distinct characterizations for each one of The Beatles. Developed under the guidance of Director Bradley Calcaterrra, the entire intimate hour is improvised (including impromptu songs on acoustic guitar) and interactive with the audience, so that every show is a unique experience.

The basic concept revolves around Dave Jay taking the stage dressed as an anmalganm of The Beatles, circa 1966, pouring himself a cup of tea and talking to, but mostly fielding questions from the audience, whom arre encouraged to ask any quetion of any Beatle they would like. Dave Jay responds by liquidly shifting into whichever Beatle has been addressed; the goal is to individually portray each man as a genuine human being with the same fears, insecurities, and glories that each of us routinely experiences in an exploration beyond the iconic status they have achieved. johnpaulgeorgeringo is a musically-laced, history-rich, open-hearted improvisational dramedy.

Dave Jay has been a passionate Beatles fan for the past 29 years and truly believes that theirs is the greatest story every told. Furthermore, The Beatles impact – as a group and as solo artists – continues to reverberate for new generations of fans today.
