Get There Early: The Songs of Chris Miller & Nathan Tysen (NYMF)

An evening of progressive musical theatre songs by the Jonathan Larson Award-winning team of Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen, sung by a group of Broadway favorites.

Inspired by contemporary folk and rock, Miller & Tysen’s groove-based material has a distinct style that contemporizes the sound of American Musical Theater. The concert features a host of special guests–including Emily Skinner, Jessica Molaskey, Steven Pasquale, Luther Creek, Wayne Wilcox, and Nicole Van Giesen–singing selections from the team’s musicals, True Fans, The Mysteries of Harris Burdick, and The Burnt Part Boys, with a chamber ensemble led by Vadim Feichtner.
