Presented as part of the Dixon Place Literary Programs, Experiments & Disorders features Jan Clausen and Anthony Tognazzini.

Jan Clausen’s poems have appeared recently in Bloom, Fence, Gargoyle, The Hat, Margie, and Ploughshares. She received a NYFA in poetry for 2003. Two new collections are forthcoming this year: From a Glass House and If You Like Difficulty. She teaches at the New School and in the Goddard MFA Writing Program.

Anthony Tognazzini was born in California and has lived in Texas, the Philippines, Spain, Germany, Indiana, and the Czech Republic. His poetry and short fictions have appeared in Quarterly West, Paragraph, Salt Hill, The Hat, Mississippi Review, Double Room, Quick Fiction, and The Alaska Quarterly Review, among other journals. His work has also appeared in the collections Sudden Stories: A Mammoth Anthology of Miniscule Fiction and PP/FF: An Anthology. Anthony has received an AWP Award, a Greer Artist Foundation Fellowship, a Hemingway Fellowship, and an Academy of American Poets Prize.
