Evidence, A Dance Company

Brooklyn native Ronald K. Brown and his company, Evidence, A Dance Company, return for two exciting programs, including the New York premiere of One Shot, co-commissioned by The Joyce, featuring a live performance by drummer Mohammed Camara (Tue/Wed/Sun at 7:30, Sat at 8). Inspired by the photography of African American legend Charles “Teenie” Harris, this multimedia work delves into the essence of family, hope, dignity and celebration at the heart of Teenie’s art. The second program features Come Ye, Truth Don Die and one of Evidence’s more popular works, Upside Down, featuring live music by Wunmi (Thu/Fri at 8, & Sat/Sun at 2).
