Hosted by Michael Silva of Improvaholics and comedienne Terri Girvin, the Emerging Artists Theatre Company Benefit Gala begins with complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres (from 8pm to 10pm). Cabaret performances start at 9pm. Featured vocalists, comedians and
improvisers include: Denise Maffit, Nick Henry, Matt Reese, Brett Douglas and Rachel Permann among others. Other highlights of the evening will be live music, a raffle and a silent auction.
Proceeds from the benefit go towards funding EAT’s 2001-2002 season which includes: four full-length workshop productions, two one-act festivals and the Off-Broadway production of Cooper Savage written by Bash Halow and directed by Nona Lloyd.
A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to the Actor’s Fund of America’s Relief Fund.
