Dana Reeve appeared on Broadway in the comedy More to Love. She has appeared Off-Broadway and regionally at such theatres as the Williamstown Theatre Festival, the Yale Repertory Theater, Joseph Papp’s Public Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Club, Ensemble Studio Theatre and the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival where she most recently starred in The Crucible. On television, Reeve has guest starred on “Law and Order,” “Law and Order: Criminal Intent” and “All My Children.” She had recurring roles on the CBS drama “Feds” and the HBO series “Oz,” and also appeared in the HBO films “Above Suspicion” and “Someone Had to Be Benny.” As a singer, she has performed on national television and at various New York venues. She sings the title song on the soundtrack of the Cable Ace award-winning HBO drama, “In the Gloaming,” directed by her husband Christopher Reeve. Reeve, alongside ABC News correspondent Deborah Roberts (“20/20”), co-hosted “Lifetime Live,” a daily talk show for women on the Lifetime network. She is actively involved in the fight for increases in medical research funding, and is an advocate for rights of the disabled. She serves on the Boards of The Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation and the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, and is involved with the environmental organization, Renew America.
