Clyde Haberman, a renowned columnist for
The New York Times. The critically acclaimed 2002 thriller
City of Ghosts follows Jimmy (Matt Dillon), a man on the run from a botched U.S. insurance scam, as he hides out in Bangkok. Eager to escape his past, he catches wind of a rumor: his former partner and mentor, Marvin (James Caan), has resurfaced in Cambodia. Determined to track him down and claim the promised cut of their last scheme, Jimmy embarks on a journey into the heart of a foreign, unforgiving world.
