Judith Light is the winner of the Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play!
Marking the tenth collaboration between Manhattan Theatre Club and Tony Award-winning playwright Richard Greenberg (The American Plan), The Assembled Parties is helmed by Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director of MTC. The show follows an affluent Jewish family through two separate Christmas Eve dinners. Act I opens on the first holiday dinner in the year 1980 at the Central Park West apartment where former film actress Julie Bascov (Jessica Hecht) and her sister-in-law Faye (Judith Light) have gathered everyone together. A house guest also joins them for the evening and becomes entangled in the Bascovs’ family drama. When Act II opens on Christmas Eve in the year 2000, we see the toll that 20 years has taken on this family.
Student rush tickets are $27.00 and are available at the box office only on the day of the performance (at 10AM or on Sundays at noon). Photo ID verifying current enrollment in a degree or diploma program is required. Tickets are subject to availability. There is a maximum of two tickets per person. Credit cards are accepted.
