About This Show

THIS PRODUCTION HAS BEEN POSTPONED.

Blind Study is a modern tragedy about two sides of the same man, and his ultimately doomed relationships with two very different women. Jim Fowler, a reclusive college professor at a New England university, has a tumultuous affair with a 19-year-old student. Ethan Blake, a sophisticated, charming bachelor, begins a relationship with an independently-wealthy widow. More than a Jekyll-and-Hyde story, Blind Study is at its core a character study of a man who is a total enigma to himself and everyone around him. Jim Fowler creates Ethan Blake as an alter-ego, as his counterpart, as what he wishes he could be. In the end however, Jim is forced to face who and what he is, to view himself in the purest, most honest light.
