Babbie Green: In Nobody’s Shadow marks the FireBird debut for this singer/songwriter. As recipient of the first Johnny Mercer Songwriting Award and the 1994 BackStage Bistro Award for Outstanding Songwriter, Green’s songs are in the repertoire of cabaret artists here and abroad on numerous recordings. Green is a passionate story teller. Whether as a songwriter at the piano or an actor on the stage, she creates characters and situations in which audiences see themselves laugh and cry, sometimes simultaneously.
