About This Show

This is a retrospective and tribute to Trevor Nunn, the famed director of Rock n Roll, King Lear, Les Miserables, Cats, and countless Shakespearean productions during 18 years as Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company. Also featured are film and stage stars Sinead Cusack (Rock n Roll, Eastern Promises) and Rufus Sewell (Rock n Roll, The Illusionist) reading selections from Shakespeares work, film clips from Mr. Nunn’s productions of Macbeth (with Ian McKellen and Judi Dench) and The Merchant of Venice (with Henry Goodman), and a videotaped greeting from Mr. Nunn’s longtime friend and collaborator Patrick Stewart.
