About This Show

A special day-long symposium that offers the public an in-depth exploration of the political and artistic sides of All the Way, the new play about Lyndon Baines Johnson’s first year in office, which stars Bryan Cranston (“Breaking Bad”) and is directed by Bill Rauch.

During this symposium, four panels of experts including eminent historians, civil rights leaders, government officials, dramatists, and policy pundits will examine the complex life and legacy of President Johnson, the events and echoes of the Civil Rights movement, the issues inherent in the dramatist’s adaptation of life into art, and the indelible impact the events of 1964 had on American history.
