Above the Belt

Above the Belt presents risky, powerful, often-astonishing work performed above the ground in a funky, intimate theater, and bar. The only show of its kind, it features an ever-changing line-up of aerial artists from the U.S., Canada, and Europe performing new work, signature pieces, works-in-progress, traditional circus, and experimental aerial dance on a trapeze, fabric, and rope.

The show was previously presented in series of monthly, sold-out performances at the former Belt Theatre from November 2004 – June 2005.
