About the Show
Highlights From Mary Poppins
This practically perfect musical theatre summer camp will surely be a fantastic
introduction to musical theatre for your child. RST’s summer theatre camp teaches a
broad spectrum of theatre subjects through participation in games, music, dance,
and rehearsals. Your child has the opportunity to work with theatre professionals to
build these skills and so much more. All of the students’ hard work will culminate in a
week end showcase where your child will get the chance to perform ON STAGE,
under the lights for your family and friends.
Camp Dates: July 1-5
Camp Times: Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Friday Showcase begins promptly at 2:30 PM
Camp Size Limit: 30 Students
Highlights From Willy Wonka
This is a true musical theatre camp. We will be acting, singing, and dancing. Along
with learning new skills and sharpening our actor’s talent, we will bring selected
songs from “Willy Wonka” to life. Along with learning new skills and playing fun
theater games, the students will prepare a medley of choreographed songs and
acting scenes based on the storyline from “Willy Wonka” to perform ON STAGE for
family and friends to enjoy!
Camp Dates: July 7-12
Camp Times: Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Friday Showcase begins promptly at 2:30 PM
Camp Size Limit: 30 Students
All Camper Information
No prior theatre experience or auditions are required.
Food: Students should bring 2 snacks, lunch, and a water bottle daily.
Clothing Requirements: closed-toe shoes, pants, shorts, or skirts (with shorts or tights
underneath.) No bare midriffs. We will be moving in class. Dance clothes are more
than welcome. Above all we want the students to be comfortable.
There are a few scholarships available. Aftercare is available from 3-5 pm, for an
additional fee.
