Celebrate the holiday season with festive dance and music. The Nutcracker will be retold in two beautiful adaptations at Mercer County Community College’s Kelsey Theatre in December.
The New Jersey Youth Ballet, under the direction of David Kieffer, will magically transport family audiences to the Land of the Sweets in a one-hour, fully narrated version of “The Nutcracker” on Friday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 17 and 18 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The critically acclaimed Alborada Spanish Dance Theater presents “El Sueño” (The Dream), a Latin-inspired version of the Nutcracker Christmas ballet on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m.
